COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS REGARDING LASER HAIR REMOVAL:
Q.
How does Laser hair removal work?
A.
Hair grows in cycles. The laser destroys all hair that is actively growing. The laser kills the bulb of the hair, so that hair cannot grow back at this site. The client is scheduled every 4 - 6 weeks when a new crop of hair is actively growing. It takes approximately 8 of these sessions to destroy all hair bulbs that the laser
can get.
Q. Can
hair be removed from any area of the body?

Who performs the laser hair removal and what is their training?
A.
We have trained medical professionals performing laser hair removal. Our
nurse practitioner and RNs went through vigorous training before beginning to treat clients.
They received individual training from the company from which we purchased our laser.
After the completion of this, they participated in an intensive workshop that provided them with one-on-one training
with medical professionals who have been performing laser hair removal for several years.
All laser staff go through on going laser seminars as well as on-line seminars.
The current staff has between 1 year and 7 years of experience with laser.
