Our newest service from Susie our licensed medical esthetician.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many times do I need to come? It usually takes more than one visit to get the makeup exactly right. Due to the swelling of the skin, only so much pigment can be implanted into the skin in one session. The price of $375 includes first visit, take home information and 2 follow up appointments. Touch ups are done anytime after 6 weeks.

How long does it take to heal? Do not expect to see the final result for at least 7 days. Color will appear 30-50% darker in the first week as skin heals.

How long does it last? It will last for years! Although smoking, medications, sun exposure, natural aging process, chemical peels, and other lightening agents may affect or shorten the life of your makeup. It may need to be refreshed, but will vary from person to person.

What kind of results can I expect? Permanent makeup is intended to enhance your features. You should have realistic goals. During the first 3-5 days the makeup will appear darker than the final look.

What kind of training has your technician had? Our licensed medical esthetician is certified in rotary, digital and hand held permanent makeup applications.

How long has this service been around? Permanent makeup has been performed successfully and safely since the 1970’s.

What should I know before I get started? You should not take any Vitamins or Medications for 10 days that may cause blood thinning or swelling of the skin. (If you are unsure what medications do this, consult your physician.  i.e. aspirin, coumadin, warfarin)

Absolutely NO Caffeine 24 hours before and day of service and NO Alcohol 3-4 days before service. This includes all medications that may include alcohol.

If you are prone to low grade infections, and have to take antibiotics before going to the dentist, you may have to do the same before this treatment. Consult your physician.

Try not to schedule around your menstrual cycle. Your skin will be more sensitive, and more likely to swell. Also, you must not be pregnant or nursing.

Skin care myth:  "I only need sunscreen when I am out in the sun for extended periods of time".
Skin care truth: You need to apply an SPF 30 or higher every day, rain or shine.
